Position: Project Coordinator
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall Objective of the Position
The Project Coordinator is responsible for overall management and implementation of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with Dan Church Aid Program Coordinator and Program Manager to ensure smooth implementation of activities
- Prepare annual plan, implementation plan and monitoring plan of the project with support of the concerned staff and organization to ensure activities are in line with achieving expected outputs.
- Ensure meaningful participation of communities in all project activities.
- Overall management of budget plan
- Prepare and submit progress reports of program activities, including training activities, to the organization and Dan Church Aid, in a timely manner.
- Collects reports, success stories, and achievements and submit to the concern authorities.
- Monitor and supervise staff performance and assist them in capacity development.
- Coordinate with District and local government and other district and local stakeholders.
- Perform the administrative tasks as assigned by the organization’s rules and guideline.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must be a Civil Engineer and should have a more than four years experiences in relevant sectors
- Good communication skills both in English and Nepali
- Experience in program management, report writing and staff mobilization.
- Ability and willingness to work in team and to work under pressure and in remote/difficult circumstances
- Should have experiences on budget management and procurement process

Position: Information and Data Management officer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall Objective of the Position
- The Information and Data Management officer is responsible for overall Reporting of the project activities.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Create and enforce policies for effective data management
- Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
- Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
- Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.
- Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards
- Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
- Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
- Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
- Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Development studies or in relevant sectors
- Minimum a four years experiences in relevant sectors.

Position: Finance and procurement Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall Objective of the Position
The Finance and Procurement officer is responsible for overall management and implementation of the project financial and Procurement Activities at office Level.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Conduct financial review of purchase requests, purchase orders and payment requests to ensure compliance with Action Nepal policies and procedures and project budgets according as per organization rules and regulations.
- Record payment vouchers daily in the Action Nepal accounting system and ensure they are recorded properly in the appropriate batches.
- Record bank payment vouchers and ensure that all bank transactions are properly and fully documented.
- Review expense reports (travel expense reports and operational expense reports) for accuracy and completeness and ensure that expense reports have been fully approved before payment
- Continuously monitor open advance report and follow up on the long outstanding advances.
- Prepare monthly reporting package.
- Make necessary arrangement to pay TDS (tax deduction at source) withheld to government on monthly basis.
- Proper documentation of financial reports, procurements, meeting minutes, .
- Documentation of staff personal file and documentation in a detailed manner.
- Documentation of essential data and files in a well and consistent manner.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in management, commerce, or business administration,
- Minimum of Four years of experience in Accounting, Finance sector of I/NGOs able to work flexible hours as needed and without constant
- Communication, Coordination and team building skills.
- Should have sound knowledge of tax and vat system
- Excellent in Microsoft office and Excel and other financing & accounting software.
Position: Logistic Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall Objective of the Position
- The Logistic Officer is responsible for overall management of the materials at Field Level and office level.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Support on financial activities conducted by Finance and Procurement officer
- Maintain stock ledger and manage transportations as per need.
- Collecting all documentation regarding distribution of materials
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse and transportation
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in management, commerce, or business administration,
- Minimum 4 years experience in relevant sectors
- Good ability to perform under deadlines and be detail-oriented
- Proven working experience in logistics field
- Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
Position: Sub Engineer
Number of position : 6
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall Objective of the Position
The Sub Engineer is responsible for overall management and implementation of the project at Field Level.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrates commitment to Action Nepal core values.
- Supervision of field work
- Report to Project Coordinator on all issues related to progress of construction.
- Trouble-shoot and identify construction problems; offer timely and safe solutions.
- Ensure project proceeds in a timely manner.
- Complete necessary reports and meet at least monthly with Project coordinator to discuss project progress.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum a certificate degree in relevant sectors
- Minimum of four years of experience thematic sector
- Commitment to basic workplace values and policies.
- Able, willing and committed to work with people of different backgrounds even in challenging areas.
- Able to cope with stress and work under difficult circumstances.
