Terms of Reference to Service Provider

Rational:

With partnership of Christian Aid Nepal, Focus Nepal is going to invite Bid to Individual Consultant, Firm, Company and Cooperative for supplying of Khari Goats to concern working VDCs. The organization has Livelihood and Food Security Component and planning to support raising of Economic Status of Earthquake affected HHs in Khari, Chainpur and Jyamrung VDCs. In this connection, Organization had decided to support Goats to selected Target HH by November, 2016. So, Focus Nepal Dhading invites Bid Quotation from an agency. The detail specification is given as below;

Breed and Genetic Purity:

It is expected to adapting with adverse climate if the breed is from local level. The Khari Breed is widely acceptable by Government site and allows to farming for Mid- Hills of Nepal. But it should be true to type with respect to Genotype and Phenotype. Focus Nepal assumes to be more than 80% attributes of Khari Goat that can be managed to distribution.

Ageing of Goat:

The determination of age for rearing is to have around Six to Nine Months and near to meting period. The other determination factor is concerned as an average of 9 to 11 KG.

Transportation

Due to adaptation and ecological existence, all Goats must be supplied beyond adjoining working VDCs and vehicle charge included within total cost of per Goat.

Vaccination and Tagging:

It is free from external and internal parasites as well as vaccinated against diseases. The tagging is a must for identification of Goats and it should be done within per cost of Goat.

Service Charges:

The management cost/service charge is included within per rate kg of Goat. Other extra cost will not be added.

Instructions for Service Providers:

Any Individual Consultant, Firm, Company and Cooperative should be renewing, having Tax clear and well documented. Thus, Focus Nepal Dhading is requested to invite Bid Quotation of its Expression of Interest (EOI) from above mentioned agency. The Bidders with experience in the same process of work natures will have added value in the evaluation process. The eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents and sealed Bids must be submitted to Focus Nepal Dhading by hand/courier on or before 18^th October, 2016, before 16.00 pm. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected. If the last date of submission falls on a Government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders representative who choose to attend at 14.00 pm on 20th October, 2016 at the Management Unit, Focus Nepal Office, Dhading.
