Action Nepal is non- governmental, non profit organization based in Nepal. Formally registered with the district, administration office, Dhading and recognised by social welfare council government of Nepal. Established in 2000 AD, this organization presently has its central office at Dhading bensi, Dhading. Its branch office are scattered in various parts of the country, and are coordinated by central office. The main objective of action Nepal is to contribute to the development of Nepal from a non- governmental initiative by involving local human resources.

Job Description

Job Title: Livelihood officer (Livestock) – 1

                 Field Supervisor – 1

Project: Nepal Earthquake Response Livelihood Project (NERLP)                                      

Project period: Dec-2016 to oct-2016

Location: Based in Dhading, frequent travel to Gumdi, Salyankot, Jeewanpur, Khalte and Katunje of Dhading District, Nepal.

Reporting to: Program Coordinator, NERLP Project, Action Nepal

Qualification and Experience for Livelihood officer

• At least undergraduate degree in Agriculture (Animal Husbandry/Livestock) or other relevant disciplines,
• At least 1 year experience in project cycle or relevant field of Agriculture/Livestock,
• Proven skill to track in agricultural, livelihoods, need assessment of the community,
• Experience in working with partnership with local community and government,
• Good experience on livelihood project implementation section,
• Good knowledge of team work for building effective taskforce
• Good skill and knowledge to track the expenses of budget and work plans of project,
• Proven experience and commitment to, participatory methodologies to development.
  

Qualification and Experience for Field supervisor

• At least +2 levels or I. Sc. in Agriculture or other relevant disciplines,
• At least 3 year experience in project cycle or relevant field of Agriculture,
• Experience on community mobilization section of livelihood related project,
• Good skill and knowledge on reporting and recording of community mobilization under the livelihood action,
• Good understanding on mobilization, context and need of local community,
• Good experience on mobilizing field staff at community level,
