Forum for Community Upliftment System Nepal (FOCUS-Nepal) Dhading a NGO working in diversified field in Dhading. Currently, it is looking for potential candidates for following positions of Dhading WASH Project funding by World Vision International Nepal.

Position:1, WASH Project Coordinator- 1

Main Responsibilities

Prepare schedule for DIP of the project, coordinate the project staff and facilitate to divide clear role and responsibility; capacity building of project staffs, selection of beneficiary, prepare the initial document for project procurement, ensure event based report, monthly report, annual reports and reports as per donor requirement, budget forecasting, maintainliaison stakeholders and community, present progress and plan to DDRC and other agency as per requirement.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors in Civil Engineering or public health or Masters in any discipline; with at least three years experience in project implementation preferably in WASH projects.

— Good knowledge on water and sanitation in recovery and rehabilitation phase

— Able to monitor expenditures, budgets, and track activity expenses; ensure that appropriate

— action is taken in a timely fashion

— Must be willing and able to travel field up to 40% of the time.

— Excellent English & Nepali communication skills (oral and written)

— Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office Suite

— Have positive learning attitude and concern for the poor and vulnerable people

— Have high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and independent

— Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Position: 2, Admin/Finance Officer-1

Main Responsibilities

Maintain project account, budget forecast, control expenditure as per the project norms and organization’s financial policy, maintain staff attendance, leave record and travel. Prepare necessary contract, sub-contract paper, track vehicle log book, maintain project supplies and assets, and prepare financial reports as per donor requirement and support external auditor where as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

MBA with 1 years experience or Bachelor’s in Commerce with 3 years experience in accounting /finance management in INGO/NGO.

— Knowledge of accounting theory and financial analysis and experience in financial reporting

— Able to monitor expenditures, budgets, and track activity expenses; ensure that appropriate

— action is taken in a timely fashion

— Good knowledge and skills in accounting, assets management & administration

— Good time management and organizational skills

— Good English & Nepali communication skills (oral and written)

— Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office Suite

Position: 3, Civil Engineer-1

Main Responsibilities

Prepare design and estimate of the WASH infrastructure, feasibility assessment of the potential project sites,prepare procurement documents, coordinate field activities related to the hardware part, capacity building of technical staffs, coordinate technical part of the project, present technical part of the project where as necessary, prepare the work completion report.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years experience in water supply/ WASH project.

— Able to develop Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and tender documents (if needed);

— Able to use AutoCad and ArcGIS

— Able to use a computer, with word-processing and spreadsheets, (e.g. Microsoft Office)

— Able to develop clear infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g. checklists), and validate the accuracy of

— the data and the quality of the WASH Infrastructure interventions

— Able to monitor expenditures, budgets, and track activity expenses; ensure that appropriate

— action is taken in a timely fashion

— Must be willing and able to travel field up to 80% of the time

— Excellent English & Nepali communication skills (oral and written)

— Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office Suite

— Have positive learning attitude and concern for the poor and vulnerable people

— Have high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and independent

Position: 4, Overseer-1

Main Responsibilities

Assist to engineer to prepare design and estimate of the WASH infrastructure, support to get the feasibility assessment of the potential project sites, capacity building of the community/beneficiary, mobilize WASH technician, ensure the safe storage and optimum utilization of construction materials in the field level;

Skills and Qualifications

Diploma in civil engineering from CTEVT certified institute with at least 3 years experience,

— Able to use AUTOCAD and other computer software

— Must be willing and able to travel field up to 80% of the time

— Excellent English & Nepali communication skills (oral and written)

— Have positive learning attitude and concern for the poor and vulnerable people

— Have high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and independent
